Day 35 - Step by Step

Woke up at around 9:30, still groggy from late night Youtube. It was quite a hassle for me to get up, but I finally got around to doing so. I quickly got changed, got ready, and headed for the door. It was time to go to Scarborough Town Centre.

We arrived early, avoiding the rush and the parking lot frenzy. I didn't have my camera with me, so I was unable to take pics of the Christmas ornaments and the huge tree they have set up in the middle of the mall.

I only picked up one gift today, which was not the best I could do. There's still time, though. For lunch, I had a nice sandwich from Michel's and some NYF. After that, I walked around a little more, avoiding places that I know I would spend money in. Nothing much happened after, so we headed home to relax for the rest of the day.

My iPod battery is horrible nowadays. I had it on for about 5 hours straight, and it was already 90% drained from a full charge. Usually, it lasts way longer and I'm afraid that it might run dry in the middle of the day...and days without music suck.

Now I'm going to start up Street Fighter and watch Youtube. I need some practice in Third Strike for sure... I have some inspiration from the Kuroda DVD samples. Well, that's about it for today..

G'night.

Day 34 - The Weekend is Here!

Just one more week of school and it's winter break. It's definitely going to be a week of hard work, projects, and tests, but we're almost there. I better start planning my winter break efficiently before I promise things that won't or can't happen.

My Canada Goose is so damn warm.. After a 10 minute walk in the snowy weather outside, my body was warm and moist. Amazing jacket... I do need a scarf though, my face was frozen!!

This place has been empty of pictures lately, simply because I haven't had the motivation to take pics. Leaving my camera at Omar's house doesn't help either (There, have your shoutout). For now, I'll just place random pictures from Google on here in replacement of the ones I am unable to take at the moment.

...and since Omar Khan wanted me to mention him in my blog, here you go.

Day 33

Just came home from hockey like an hour ago. Finally netted a goal. It wasn't pretty, but hey, it counted.

My PBJ are coming along nicely. Love them. I wish they were more tapered though...

I wonder what's going down this weekend. Hmm.

Anyways, almost 1:00. Gonna listen to music and sleep.

G'night

Day 32

Snow fell hard today. I hate going out and shoveling in the morning, but it was bearable today.

Had hockey and couldn't net a goal if my life depended on it. I had so many chances and shifts, but the bounces weren't to my favour today. Oh well, there's always tomorrow's game.

New drum video. A collaborative effort from my boy Anthony and myself. Big props to him for learning the song and editing the video perfectly. Awesome job!

Time to go to bed. I'm so tired.

G'night.

Day 31

Good day today!!!

School was the usual. Found out I did pretty well on my E&SS test, which I wasn't too confident about. Glad I got the good mark though. In Writer's Craft, my groups fable play went smoother then I would have imagined. Even though everything was basically last last minute, we managed to act it out just fine, and also milked a few laughs from the class.

After school, I went home to be greeted with a Black Canada Goose Expedition! Birthday gift from my parents. Definitely a very nice jacket that will keep me warm! :D

Nothing too much to say today. I'm going to to turn on the PS2 and play some Street Fighter. Later on, I'll probably the newly uploaded Utaban episode and Whose Line on Youtube.

G'night.

Day 30

I haven't had much time or drive to update the blog as of late. My schedule is filled with Street Fighter, going out, and sleep.

Lately, I've had the feeling of nostalgia surge through me every time I hear a Christmas carol. I remember back in the day at Bendale when every class would go down to the gym and sing christmas carols together. I always sat with my friends, as we mocked and reworded the songs to our enjoyment. Those times are long gone, and it sucks. Childhood was the best.

I've been looking at the 8130 boot by Red Wing, and every time I take a peek at a picture, it screams "BUY ME!!". Definately a beautiful boot, and black would be very versatile, but I got better things to spend my money on... at least that's what I want myself to think.

I'm so pissed that Of Machines isn't coming on the tour to play on the 12th. The only band I'm looking forward to is Speak of the Devil, and they are probably not going to play for very long... Very bummed. I probably won't go anymore.

Off to bed... Almost 1:00.

G'night.

Day 29.

Yesterday, I finally got my boots re-oiled. they felt great when I wore them to dinner today. My boots are ready for the winter snow!

Today wasn't a bad day. I went to dinner with my dad and headed to hockey at about 9. Corey probably performed the best faceplant I have ever seen in my hockey career. I'm never going to let him live it down!

Yesterday, I found out that I only got 1 wrong on my biology test, which is great news. Since a lot of people in the other class did horrible apparently, everyone got 15 minutes to re-write any of their mistakes on the test. That put all of us in a good mood, as the whole class got a second chance at perfect, which is a rare occasion.

Time to go to bed. Saturday: Sushi Mountain

**Note to self... buy OF MACHINES tickets for next Sat.

G'night.
